After a successful 26-game audition with the Ottawa Senators at the end of last season, it looks like Erik Condra has earned a spot with the club going forward.
The club announced that the forward signed a two-year contract on Wednesday. The deal is worth $1.25 million, with Condra making $600,000 in the 2011-12 season and $650,000 in 2012-13.
The 24-year-old, who recorded 47 points in 55 games in the AHL last season, netted six goals and five assists in 26 regular season games with the Senators.
Condra was Ottawa's seventh-round selection, 211th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
